Who I coach
K–12 Scholastic Chess
Valerio's background is rooted in scholastic chess. He grew up competing as a K–12 player, so he knows what students face — from learning the first rules to sitting down at their first tournament.
My coaching philosophy
“I want students to actually understand chess rather than simply memorize moves. My goal is to help students build a strong foundation, think independently, learn from their mistakes, and genuinely enjoy playing chess.”
